We started SmitKit Publishing to publish books we’d love to see on bookshelves across the world and to bring our ideas and inspirations to life. Having worked in the book trade in Scotland for many years, we are booksellers at heart. We love books, we love reading, and we also love writing and creating.

We are committed to working with talented, creative people to publish fantastic books. As avid readers ourselves, we would much rather read a book that’s been made by humans rather than robots and so we’ll only publish books made by real people.
